IMAGINE DRAGONS: ALTERNATIVE ROCK GROUP

Imagine Dragons released their debut album NIGHT VISION September 2012 and the deluxe version February 2013. The Alternative/Indie Rock Group originally formed in Las Vegas. The album’s top track ‘Radioactive’ is currently sitting at number one on iTunes in the Alternative Music group, after 9 months from release date, and  #3 on Billboard’s Top 100.

Just off a European tour the group began touring the USA, including performances on the Jimmy Kimmel Show and Jay Leno Show.  Look for them in your area.  Check out their Web-Site for tour schedule.    http://www.imaginedragonsmusic.com/tour/

They are hotter than the critic’s predicted, and many shows sell out fast, because the word is out that they put on a "VERY GOOD" show.

The group of five guys fronted by Dan Reynolds, the only original member of the group, are rocking out along with similar groups as Cold Play, and Mumford & Sons, sporting the folk rock vibe that has Americana getting out an enjoying music again. Reynolds says "we are ordinary guys writing music that people connect with".

Imagine Dragons may not be unique, but the production and material got them noticed, and they are picking up momentum along the way.  While this is their debut album, they have released several EP’S prior to the full album that brought attention to their brand, and they will not doubt improve and develop as they play more venues.

WILLY MOON: SINGER

Willy Moon’s debut album “Here’s Willy Moon” out 5/21/2013, is a bang ‘in, clanging, twang ‘in sort of sound, full of fun stuff.  Moon a 24 year old (B’Day June 2nd) from Wellington, New Zealand, is the Alternative, Indie Pop, Rock n’ Roller, infused with a little Hip/Hop out to show the world he is here, and making his mark in the “POP’ world.  The heavy beats, heavy bass, work well with his knack for pulling from the past for a refreshing new sound.  The kid is enthusiastic for sure!

From the Huffington Post 5/21/2013 by Reetu Rupal: Willy Moon will soon be gyrating his way into your music collection. Fact. His distinct features, tall frame, fancy footwork, dapper suits and infectious 1960s pop grooves make this New Zealander hard to miss. The 23-year olds self-produced debut album, "Here's Willy Moon," is sharp and slick, much like Moon himself.
His album packs a punch, from his unique tone and string section on "Get Up" to surf guitars on "I Wanna Be Your Man." This is high energy rock `n' roll with a modern twist.
From Wikipedia: “Moon's song "Yeah Yeah" was used in Apple Inc's 2012 iPod lineup TV advertisement, including the 5th-generation Touch, 7th-generation Nano, and4th-generation Shuffle.[14] "Yeah Yeah" was also featured on the Sosh Orange[15] 2012 advertisement than ran in France and as part of New Years Eve 2013 fireworks display in London”.

ONEREPUBLIC-Music Group

OneRepublic,  one of best groups out there right now, released their 3rd Studio album NATIVE out March 2013.

The band fronted by Ryan Tedder, who has a phenomenal singing voice and vocal range along with lead guitar Zach Filkins formed the group in 2002 out of Colorado Springs, CO, but they didn’t release an album until 2007, when they became almost an overnight sensation with the hit  ‘Apologize’ from the album  DREAMING OUTLOUD (2007), and later WAKING UP (2009).

They are sometimes compared to Maroon 5, featuring Adam Lavine, and Cold Play, but they are more versatile because Tedder can change up his vocals to fit any genre,
and he is extremely talented in the production part of the music business. One cannot say enough about this guy, and his many talents.

Tedder has an independent career as a Grammy winning songwriter; and he is also a music producer. He has written and produced for talent like Jennifer Lopaz, Jennifer Hudson, Carrie Underwood, Leona Lewis, Backstreet Boys, Beyonc’e Knowles, David Cook, Ludacris, Chris Cornell, Gavin McGraw, James Blunt, James Morrison, Kelly Clarkson and many, many more.

A few favorites on the album ‘Counting Stars’, ‘If I lose Myself’, ‘Feel Again’, ‘I Lived’, ‘What You Wanted, and more.

Great band, great music, a must have OneRepublic!

JACK SAVORETTI: SINGER/SONGWRITER

Jack Savoretti:  Released his 3rd studio album June 2012 BEFORE THE STORM to European markets. I love this guy! He says it all for me, his poetic lyric resonates the softness of a whisper and reminds me of the great Bob Dylan. His vocals are reminiscent of Amos Lee with a pinch of Chris Cornell.  Savoretti can belt a tune infused with his gravely depth, that takes one into the melodious lyric of the song  like that of ‘Vagabond’, ‘Knock Knock’,’ Last Call’, ‘Breaking the Rules’ and more.
As a young man he wrote poetry, and was encouraged by his Mother to put his words to music. He was "surprised how much more people listen to you when you are singing than if you read a poem," he admits. "After that, I couldn’t stop, it was constant writing, every day, it became almost a form of conversation, the way I interact with the world."
Savoretti is a London native of English/Italian decent who later moved to Switzerland where he went to an The American School on the border of Italy/Switzerland. He claims this is where his accent which he calls ‘transatlantic mutt’ comes from.
ITUNES recently released a single from the album ‘LIFETIME’ out  May 19, 2013. This album is great! A must have from Savoretti and his band ‘Dirty Romances’, their best effort so far.
