Willy Moon’s debut album “Here’s Willy Moon” out
5/21/2013, is a bang ‘in, clanging, twang ‘in sort of sound, full of fun
stuff. Moon a 24 year old (B’Day
June 2nd) from Wellington, New Zealand, is the Alternative,
Indie Pop, Rock n’ Roller, infused with a little Hip/Hop out to show the world he is here, and
making his mark in the “POP’ world. The
heavy beats, heavy bass, work well with his knack for pulling from the past for
a refreshing new sound. The kid is
enthusiastic for sure!

Rupal: Willy Moon
will soon be gyrating his way into your music collection. Fact. His
distinct features, tall frame, fancy footwork, dapper suits and infectious
1960s pop grooves make this New Zealander hard to miss. The 23-year olds
self-produced debut album, "Here's
Willy Moon," is sharp and slick, much like Moon himself.
His album packs a punch, from his unique tone and string section
on "Get Up" to surf
guitars on "I Wanna Be Your
Man." This is high energy rock `n' roll with a modern twist.
From Wikipedia: “Moon's song "Yeah
Yeah" was used in Apple Inc's 2012 iPod lineup TV advertisement, including the 5th-generation Touch, 7th-generation Nano, and4th-generation
Shuffle.[14] "Yeah Yeah" was also featured on the Sosh Orange[15] 2012 advertisement than ran in France and as part of New Years Eve 2013
fireworks display in London”.
