‘Soundwave’ out
December 10, 2013
is native Hawaiian Makua
Rothman’s latest passion. The 29 year world renowned ‘surfer’ has a new
passion, singing and playing his ukulele, creating a sound that is up lifting,
and fun that makes you smile and enjoy your day.
Playing the ukulele since he was about 2 years old he is one of the most accomplished
players around today, and his voice has a tone that is distinct and uniquely
his own. He could be the next Bob Marley of today scattering cheer while pulsating the
good nature and congenial hospitality of the Hawaiian people.
Rothman,
winner of the 2002 Billabong XXl Big Wave Challenge Award and the 2007 O’Neill World
Cup, and viewed by many ESPNer’s for the biggest wipe-outs, has a new direction
and music is the where he should be.
The album is
number one on iTunes World Music Scene, and sure to move into pop music category
once it gets play time.
A simple
man, with great passion for big waves and now music and a sound that speaks volumes for his
talent. I hope you will give him a chance
and listen. Check him out iTunes and
Amazon to hear snippets from his album.
