Isley, is the lead singer and founding member of the very
famous “ISLEY BROTHERS”. (1954-present)

and a Movie’
Isley at the age of 72 is still doing his thing. His voice may
not be as strong as it was, and the back-up vocals sometimes over-power his
voice, but his falsetto is still memorable and worthy of a solo album. Kem and
Trey Songz are featured on the album, with some very talented back-up singers.

At the age of 65, Isley was sentenced to prison for tax
evasion to the tune of three years and one month (2006), and was ordered to pay
back $3.1 Million in back taxes to the IRS.
Because of his ill health (Kidney Cancer, and complications from a stroke)
he was sentenced to a prison hospital.
You may find the following story posted in the Wall Street
Journal a bit ironic, considering the fact he also filed for bankruptcy in 1997.

Isley invited me into the 14,000-square-foot home she shares with her
singer-songwriter husband and their 6-year-old son, Ronald Isley appeared
wearing a pair of blue-framed Gucci sunglasses. Dressed in a turquoise Versace
sweater over a white T-shirt, designer white jeans, black leather Ferragamo
loafers and a gold medallion necklace, Mr. Isley looked every bit the soul star
whose cooing falsetto influenced the Beatles more than 50 years ago.
