Charlie Wilson’s latest CD released in December 2010 JUST CHARLIE is the former lead vocal of the Gap Bands best so far. Charlie is associated with Hip-Hop, and Funk, but really shines as a traditional R/B man, making it current and fun.
“You Are” Was released as a single in October 2010, it’s a timeless traditional R/B Soul sound, with a romantic melody that flows with his strong vocals while professing you are the reason I am.
“I Wanna Be Your Man” A duet with Fantasia, enhanced with synthpop for an interesting R & B sound.
“Never Got Enough” This Neo-soul number is a good dance song with catchy rhythms, and vocals, nice job.
“Lotto” R&B/Funk sound and good use of synthesized enhancements for a feel good winner.
JUST CHARLIE, is a good overall R/B CD, you get timeless, yet current sounds. Don’t be confused with all the Charlie Names. This is his 5th album, third as a solo artist and all three are named Charlie something:

The other Albums are with the GAP BAND, which included his two brothers.
He has four Grammy’s nominations previously with no wins. He has sold millions of albums, but this one may be his Grammy 2012. He has been around since the 80’s and he is getting stronger and more recognizable in his craft than ever before and I see him being around for many more years.
