JONATHAN BUTLER: SINGER/SONGWRITER/GUITARIST

Jonathan Butler:  Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist

Jonathan Butler fits into many genres.  He is an accomplished guitar man, an R/B Singer, Contemporary Gospel and Praise Worship singer, but most noted as a Jazz fusion guitarist, the most difficult accomplishment. Jazz Fusion includes about 5 different complex things including rhythm and improvisations and a few other things but you get the idea.  It takes years of practice, and Jonathan originally from South Africa has been on stage since the age of seven.

SO STRONG 2010, is not what most people would think considering his back ground in Jazz Fusion.  It is R/B, Jazz/Rock, Funk and just a feel good CD. I never get tired of it.

“So Strong” is the single on the Album, and you can’t help but tap your toe and
and sing along, his vocals are so strong.

His “You Got To Believe in Something” is reminiscent of a George Benson song, great rhythm and outstanding vocals.

“Make Room For Me  An instrumental that shows off his guitar savvy. This  number features Dave Koz,  a great pairing of skilled artists and easy to listen to.

“Factual” Hip, R/B and Funk will get your hips moving to the beat, and sing along with the chorus, maybe it’s factual, maybe it’s actual,  maybe.

“Feel So Good  Seductive rhythms, melodious vocals, and its makes you feel so good.

You get the idea, SO STRONG covers many moods and emotions, generally upbeat, and fun.

If you ever get the chance he sounds just as good or better on a live stage and when he hooks up with Dave Koz they are exciting to watch/listen too. They will have you moving to the music with them.

If you like George Benson, you will love this guy, he has many of the same qualities in his style and delivery. Take a chance and give him a listen.
